  We ordered drinks at the bar and had so much fun with the bartender and others at the bar, we stayed in our seats and dined there! Food is plentiful, hearty and fresh. We had the pork chops and meatloaf - delicious!!! A little noisy, but charming atmosphere, nice buzz, reasonable prices and the patrons were astonishingly friendly.

  Update: given some recent reviews from residents of a neighboring city famous for its big box stores and restaurants which unpack frozen food onto a plate, stick it in the microwave, serve it to you, and proceed to charge steep prices for name brand recognition, I thought I would come here and update my older review.
  
  Best food in town and as good as any food you'll find in the Tulsa metro. If you're looking for food from a freezer that has been microwaved prior landing on your table, I recommend staying at home (it's cheaper) or driving South and heading East a few miles before you arrive in Tulsa. If, however, you're after a unique, local, hip experience with creative dishes made fresh to order and priced accordingly, I recommend Frank and Lola's. Having lived all over the world, i can honestly say this is some of the best food I have ever tasted from a restaurant at this price range ($$).
  
  The restaurant will get loud when it fills up, but the dining experience becomes worth it once you take your first bite. The bartender is always friendly and be sure to ask her about her special drinks as she's constantly experimenting with new ideas. I recommend the calamari, salsa, pork green chili, Johnny Burger, salmon, pulled pork, meatloaf, soup of the day, or, 'frank'ly, anything on the menu.
  
  5 stars, would recommend to anyone except those looking for the strip mall experience.

  I love this place. Pulled pork is awesome. Green Chili Burger is out of this world.
